It is a security issue to prevent car thefts. There is an accessible route from customer parking through the Sales building to the Sales parking lot. Everyone must pass through the building to get to the Sales parking lot. This setup is at every Carmax in the country.
My experience was very good.

Access is controlled thru the sales building. Their sales model does not encourage "walking the lot" or "just looking". It's VERY targeted and the entire process is managed. Every location is exactly the same.
This is a location that need to shut down ! The worst of all worst bringing down the whole company name!!!!
There were a couple employees outside n I couldn't even get anyone to assist me or find out how to get in the car lot.
