Looking for a good place to shop as a student in culinary school. Cream of tartar, smoked paprika and lots of other "odd" spices I will need. Is this a good place to find these ??

John, you will find plenty of options at Fresh Market. Most of the items they sell are organic so you may pay a little more but your dishes will taste spectacular. There is also The Chef's Store in Columbia but your looking at bulk purchases there.
