Basic membership is $40 per year. I haven't had any problem with my mom borrowing my card. Especially with self check out.

Plus Membership is $100 per year and you can have 2 people on the same account. Both get their own photo ID cards.

Yes two people can have a card of their own from the same account. You both have a card with your picture on it.

According to the Sam's club website a basic one year membership is $45.
