Its very challenging to park near the Museum. Street parking is available in certain areas nearby, but is in high demand. Always try to make the last few miles to the museum by foot or subway.

Guys, at what time the park of the museum closes? What happens if for some reason I let the car more than a day? :(
We strongly recommend public transportation - it’s faster, easier, and better for the environment! However, parking is available at the 81st Street Entrance, between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue. It's open from 8am-11pm. How much is museum parking
While there is parking in the Museum it's quite expensive. I used Spothero to reserve a parking spot for $29 for all day Sunday
