DO NOT GO HERE!!! We were sold a van with undisclosed major transmission issues right off the lot. We gave this dealership a chance to make it right and they were rude and did nothing after the engine light came on rught after leaving the car lot!

Had the same thing happen to me.. transmission issues with two cars bought! 🤬

We haven't heard yet if this transmission issue is covered under warranty (even though Penland seems to think they know all about it). Lemon laws only cover new cars, not used. We had the van maybe a whole 5 or 10 minutes before the engine light came on so of course they knew there was an issue and obviously the only thing their mechanics are used for is to hide major problems long enough for them to make a sale.

Penland Automotive was unaware of any transmission issue, thankfully the repairs are covered under the manufacturer's warranty. This transaction was completed late in the day and the store closed shortly after. We were not aware until the following morning there was even an issue. We do not provide loaner vehicles due to insurance reasons and apologize for the inconvenience. All used cars are sold AS-IS.
