I originally starting seeing Dr. Ulseth a number of years ago. My cousin told me about him. He was very compassionate with her, even giving her his personal cell # because she was in the end stage of lung cancer. That being said If you do EXACTLY what he tells you he will be nice as pie to you but if you question him in any way he can't handle it. He has made me cry on a couple of occasions. Be prepared to get a lecture about dieting if you are the least bit overweight. He thinks that losing weight is the key to all your pain problems. Since the pandemic I have only had phone appointments with his associates and that makes it so much better for me. I continue to go to his practice because he is the only pain doctor in Citrus County who will prescribe the exact medication I need and for that I am truly grateful.
I don't think your talking about the Dr Ulseth I know. He's one if not the best pain management physicians I've ever had. I'm 62, had a failed spinal fusion. He has helped lower my pain so I can live a better life. He is also a human, with feelings, emotions. Diana Needham I don't understand why you would personally attack Dr Ulseth? He has told me to "give him a call" if I need to. I've never in all my years had a Doctor say that to me. I haven't called him. It's nice to know I can. He has a protocol. If you stick to it. There should no problems. He's smart. He knows who's "legit" and who isn't. I think that's a good thing. 😀 If I were him I'd be the same way. Personally, I think random pill counts are necessary at times, many complain. Why? Your numbers were off? Take meds as prescribed. Never need to worry about numbers. Smh Some people are so judgemental based on one interaction. I'm not nice every day. He's not a Gynecologist. He has a very stressful job. And does it great..
Worst dr ever believe he is severe bipolar. Using foul language constantly treats several patients and ex patients myself as stupid and he knows it all. I refused to take methadone he wanted me to take so he cursed me out said I need unicorn to help me and said get the f::k out of his office as he does many whi refuse to take high dose drugs
