I don't work there, but i can give you the general idea- They can be flexible is their current staff is. If everyone has an open schedule, you can get any hours you want. If everyone has a fixed schedule, they need someone to fit the hole left by the person they are replacing. It's usually ends up pretty flexible, with some sticking points (like Christmas Eve)
