The new comcast internet sucks... I got a 1g modem box and internet has not worked good at all in the last 2 days... Please people don't bother with it... we got it for our daughters games and keeps losing connection...

You have to pay a ton extra for 1Gb service. You do not need an speed above the base, cheapest plan for games. Go to a browser a run an xfinity speed test. If it is below 10mb, call xfinity and ask them to test your modem.
