In the United States nowhere when you pay and do not give a receipt is it legal to collect it unless it is with a credit card. (You do not know what you're talking about! Even Mc Donald's have notices that if a receipt is not issued, your product is free.)
Hi Gustavo, The reason we do not produce a receipt for every customer is due to some factors. In the last 30 years we have found that it is rare for customers to want a receipt for this service. Rather than wasting time and money printing a receipt to simply throw it away, we decided to produce receipts as needed. Contrary to what Carlos said, this is perfectly legal and is a common practice in the transportation industry. This has been verified by our accountant and attorney. The other reason is because of the time it takes to make a receipt. Our schedules are fair and if we spend a lot of time making a receipt for each client we would never get to our destinations on time. We will be happy to provide receipts upon request, so in the future please notify the dispatcher or your driver so they can provide you with a receipt.
