True, they are very very pricey. But they do provide a lot of information on the dog, chip them, medical stuff out of the wazoo, and many other things when you buy one of those dogs. Its like your buying a good quality dog.
Puppies are very expensive here. Most are around 9000. We got ours because she was a little older so she was much cheaper.
