Hello I’m moving from Illinois to Dallas in June 2021 how close to that date should I apply? And do you accept section 8 transfers from out of state?

Hi Kaibaby, You should probably apply at least by mid-April. Yes, we accept Section 8, however, if you are porting from another state you will be going through the Dallas Housing Authority who often doesn't pay enough for our rent - unless you work and have an "affordability amount".
