My uncle had mentioned about this place having a birding class, or something along those lines. He didn’t give me much information, I’m afraid. So are they birding classes here, or something related to bird classes?

They do have different classes about different subjects weekly. Some are about turtles, some about endangered species and so on and so forth. For more info look the park up under fl state parks

I would look under an events or education tab on the state park site. Often times when parks have Junior Ranger programs, which they do, they often have ranger/ volunteer led programs for visitors.
