Yesterday, I pulled up near the launch in the park. I had my own canoe, registered, with an electric trolling motor. The two park rangers told me I could not use an electric trolling motor in the park's waterways. I say, where does it say that?

State park website says Gas powered motors are prohibited but electric trolling motors can be used.

I would take a look at the state park website, as they usually have regulations posted there. It is a pretty congested waterway at times, so I can understand having it limited to human powered only.
