I am from Indiana and have a home in the Villages. I have an Indiana license to carry a handgun without an expiration date. Is it legal for me to transport a handgun to Florida for the winter?

Yes, you can carry concealed in Florida. If you are driving, you need to check the reciprocity agreements with the other states.

If your main residence is Indiana, then every state you would typically drive to and from will honor your Indiana LTC.

If you address on your driver's license is a FL license then you have to have a FL concealed license im from IN and thats what the Police and Tax Collectors office told me. But you can still keep your IN lifetime but you need to update your address on it thats $25 it will cover some states that the FL one doesn't.
