i shop at albertsons and love the store ..clean and neat..but..why does albertsons put up with the filthy recycling center in the parking lot? it is always filthy, greasy and unsanitary..it needs to be power washed daily...

I agree, I love Albertsons as well but it makes the parking lot smell so bad. They should figure out a way to maybe have it set up in the back of the store instead of the front so it don't make the parking lot a unappealing place to park at.

I can't say I know for a fact but the recycle center doesn't pay out in cash. Therefore you have to take the receipt into the store. So the recycle drives customers into the store.

Are you talking about recycling or donation? The recycling is always in the back. The donation tends to be at the far end of a parking aisle in the front. To be fair, every chain in the area seems to have this. But I agree, it gets nasty.
