Since my last post I have picked up my jet ski and Adam made things right... I was very pleased with the out come.. My ski received a new motor and sounds fantastic cant wait to hit waves...
I didnt experience that when my yxz was in there getting a rekluse installed. It was actually done faster than expected. I would call and ask to the store manager but dont say anything about you having you jetski in there for service until after you get ahold of them.
Few things to consider 1st. How old are the jetskis? Parts might take longer to find/order. Newer parts might be harder to find if demand for them is high. Older parts get moved into the back of inventory so they arent being moved to access high demand inventory. Which is why they take a while to find. 2nd. Do you have any paperwork that tells you a completion time? Or a quote of how long it will take? If not it could be placed ahead of others if you didnt express a time constraint which would/might incur a rush fee if there are others ahead of you. If you dont have a quote then it could be tomorrow or the following week. As for notifications about current progress on repairs some places prefer to give updates while others focus on completion. If your concerns havent been addressed, a face to face conversation will shed light on the situation and current progress if any has began.
Sorry to hear about your issue with the service department. I bought a new Seadoo 230gtr from them and haven't use their service yet. I'll hold off until you update your experience notes.
I have never had an issue there try speaking with the boss good luck
I wouldn't stand for that. Did they tell you it was going to take that long? They also should be calling you to verify additional costs, maybe not for every little tiny thing but almost.
