Just had cataract surgery and no longer have to wear glasses to drive. Do I have to get a new driver,s license with glasses notation removed?

Go online to the DMV (DMV.CA. COM) and go to the drivers license section. There should be a place there to notify the DMV. They will determine if you need to have a different license.
