I dont know if they are providing that service right now but st. Francis House on C st. Will provide you with a voucher for a free or reduced price for ca. Id as long as your on either cal fresh or ssi. You have to be there right at 9am and show your ebt card or ssi info and they give you a number you go inside the building and wait for them to call your number they will give you the free voucher or you can tell them when your in line if you are willing to take the reduced price voucher and they will give it to you right then you dont have to wait and its $8 that you have to pay dmv. The wait is not usually that long and they only provide i think 5 free voucher per day Friday is the best day to go because there isnt alot of people there that day. When i went I think i was in and out in 15 minutes. Plus they have hygiene bags like wellsprings too if you ask them for it. Hope that helps
