Not sure of sprays, but I put plastic forks in, tine side up, on mine and they don't dig in the soil.
If they don't Home Depot probably does.
Not sure about plant spray but furniture spray they have
I don't if they have that specially, however, they so have sprays for furniture that I believe is ok for plants.
