The previous information is correct
I think state law is 14 or 15; with time & total hrs worked restrictions for school reasons. 16 with looser regulations, unless you've quit school or gotten a g.e.d.. However to work as a cashier I believe a minimum age of 19-21 is required for alcohol & tobacco sales.
