If you are wondering about delivered packages it should say in the tracking History where it was left, (mail box, lobby office, front porch or USPS office) if it's at the post office they usually leave you a note or something. Usually this happens when the package needed signature confirmation of delivery and noone was there to sign for it which means they can't leave the package unless someone signs for it. if it says it was left at your home and it's not there then either they left it at the wrong house (which they can go get it back) or unfortunately it got stolen Either way you or the addressee may have to personally go to the post office to check or to report it
