I'm 60, but not paranoid using using debit/charge cards as parents utilize, however they live in smaller towns in California. From experience, trying to collect on a $20 check, cost more than merchandise bought. Am in sales, where we do not allow checks unless know customer. Risk ratio. Times have changed.
