I would say there isnt anything about the atmosphere that makes it NOT family friendly, but it is loud inside, and they have a fairly limited menu, so you should take those things into consideration. That being said, i cant think of any time i have been there when i have seen families with small children. It is primarily a taproom, so maybe not ideal if your kids are young or picky eaters. No chicken fingers on the menu here!

Depends on the season and day of the week, I would agree with Jason that during the day its certainly suitable, but during the summer I would expect it to be quite a different scene by 8 PM.
My wife and I take my son wheb we gontherr for dinner and we always run into other families with young kids.
During the day or for an early dinner I would say yes, but it can get a little rowdy at night.
