Albrecht, a German Company owns ALDI since 1948, along with Trader Joe's.

Aldi is a German company, Karl Albrecht is the actual owner. Albrecht family has been in supermarket business since 1913. Theo Albrecht Jr. was also owner, but now he owns Trader Joe's.
