Children under 6 are not allowed to attend R rated movies. Child tickets are for children 11 or under. Child tickets are discounted... depending on the time of showing.
3 year olds have to purchase a ticket but they have discounted rates
Children under 3 are free except for reserved seating and locations where theaters offer recliner seats.
