Daisy is correct. Its Florida. No shorts, but a nice shirt and a comfortable pair of jeans is fine. On gala evenings, or if you are dining in the restaurant, a shirt and tie is appropriate.
Smart casual. Sometimes I wear a dress and other times I wear jeans with a pretty blouse. Other gentlemen wear jackets, but my hubby dresses smart casual.
