Shoe Fly carries many Medicare approved styles of shoes for diabetics but doesn't participate with Medicare for billing purposes. The orthotist can fabricate custom diabetic inlays as well but doesn't participate with Medicare. Aspire Prosthetic and orthotic company on Greenbriar Road in York does dispense and bill Medicare for shoes and inlays with a doctor's prescription. Also many local podiatrists offer that as well.
Michael, we unfortunately no longer accept Medicare. We do carry New Balance diabetic athletic shoes and we also have a certified Pedorthist on staff who can special fit you for custom orthotics if necessary. Cynthia Provenson Shoe Fly York
I know they have a specialist on staff for custom orthopedic in-soles. Not sure about Medicare.
