Actually pretty unhelpful. If you just wanna hear yourself talk, just annoy your significant other with your opinions/responses. Have a wonderful evening ๐
How do you know that what was given was private information? & that permission wasn't granted prior to distribution? There are more details needed in order to properly answer this. If the employee's personal phone # was given without permission, that is wrong and actually a legal violation. If the work # and work email was given; this is acceptable. If permission was given prior to allow the other staff or a specific person to have the personal phone number or email- then its ok. If it was your personal information; you need to take it to your supervisor's supervisor & follow the chain of command. Hope this helps! ๐
