If you're concerned about nasty lookin' food. You're not a vegetarian. All vegetarian food looks like it looks. You find out if you can eat it...thus you do.
Both sides of the restaurant has good food. You should research the vegan vegetarian dishes before eating at any restaurant the great thing about Soul V. Is they allow u to taste on the deli by the pound side
I'm vegan and has ate there a couple of times. The only reason I stopped was because they have way to many Soy products and Technically soy isn't good for you and doesn't suppose to be consumed., But that's just my opinion and education about Soy.

The food that you're referring to is from the side that has deli style food to go. Sadly, perception is not reality. Go to the main side near the seats and actually order something from the menu. Vegan food is just as good as traditional food. However, it's vastly healthier for you. There are plenty of options available.

I'll tell you I didn't get to eat dinner but breakfast was pretty good. I went up there visiting Chicago from New Mexico. Felt good to have homecooking in the road
