You can bring coolers. We always leave ours in the car and exit the park for lunch. There are maybe 6 picnic tables available. Best time to get one is 11:00-12:00 or after 1:00. The park will also store your cooler for a charge. If you do that, they provide a large area of picnic tables for you to use.

Definitely bring your own food and drink and leave the cooler in your car or pay to check it at the gate. Food inside is not so good and $$$ for a family.
