Good Afternoon, I have to return a box to Directv and was told to bring it to any UPS store to be shipped since UPS and Direvtv has an agreement. All I will need to provide is my account number and name. Is this information accurate?

Yes! You can bring your DirectTV and ATT U-Verse equipment to any of The UPS Store locations, and they will take your name, scan your equipment, give you a receipt, and then pack and send it back for you!
