Don't know. But I doubt it. Usually "Dealer Prep" is part of the factory warranty certification.
No the bikes are shipped in crates, I use to work there 28 years ago. The front wheels, fenders, fairings, handle bars all have to be assembled at the dealership. My question was, can they be sold in there shipping crate.
Roy! How have you been Bud? This is LJ from the shop and had to interject to say Hi to you. I appreciate you for answering the question out there. They are all still sold to us from the manufacturer in the crate and then shipped to us from their warehouses'. As for retailing them in a crate to a customer it would not be acceptable from most manufactures due to their warranty certification process and PDI procedures. However, after all of that is completed they can be re-crated and delivered. This occurs for most collector and limited edition bikes where the customer requests safe transport and storage. Please stop by when you get a chance as we would all love to see you again!
No, I never saw anything like that the mall... The bikes are usually factory built.
