Yes, you absolutely do. It is a class 3 to buy and sell that cost 50 dollars annually. Unfortunately, FWC made Iguanas (the common green iguana and all color mutations) illegal to possess in Florida. If we received them we would be forced to euthanize them upon intake. If you surrender them to an amnesty even put on by FWC they also would dispatch (euthanize) them. Tegus etc are also on this list.. more can be found on Usarkflorida. Just Google them and you will be informed to the current battle at hand. They are also coming for your fish, birds, snakes, cats and dogs... Anything that can live in Florida, is not welcome in Florida. It's hard to believe but everything I said is true. Please take time to look it up and sign the petitions..
They don’t typically buy anything from anyone. They will gladly take the 2 baby iguanas for free and give them the best care that they can give them. They will even find them their forever homes. Donations aren’t required but definitely appreciated.
