Is Golden Hills Motel in Mt. Carmel Junction legit. I spoke to the owner, John Carlom, and gave my credit card information, but got no booking number or any real proof of the reservation. He was very congenial but should I be concerned??

I had the booking exactly same through phone call. As far as I remember even I didn't got any email confirmation. Once I reached there the booking was on my name. You can call them and ask for email confirmation.

I was their a few months back had the same thing happen. I had no issues. Staff was very polite,professional very helpful. And for a motel it was very clean. You should have no issues.
