I have an old bike in storage that I would like to have looked at to see if its worth fixing and keeping for use, is that a service they offer? If not where would be a good place to take it?

They do. But most of the time older (I mean 20+ years) bikes aren't worth fixing. It also depends on the brand of bike. Cheaper bikes aren't worth fixing either.
