It's got a unique ambience. And the menu is not a standard Mexican Restaurant template, it has many variations of tacos. Everything is some form of taco. It is a true Taqueria
Most Mexican restaurants are the same, similar to Chinese food I would say. Mazunte is different, they have incredible tacos, great horchata, elote (mexican corn), and a cool "nacho bar".
The authenticity. Its not a matter of one dish. Its all prepared in authentic fashions and is delicious.
It is true border town food, not salted slop tossed onto a machined starch.
The most authentic Mexican food you can get in Cincinnati. Every other place is TexMex.
I've honestly never had anything bad, and the grilled fish tacos are very good. It's fresh, authentic food at a low price point.
