Bummer. The US needs to get with it. Europeans take their dogs everywhere. They are better behaved than most peoples kids!

I agree that places need to be more pet friendly. We travel all over the country with our 2 small Yorkies. They are well behaved and we have bags to keep them in that sit on the floor by us. California is the best place to visit for dog lovers. Almost every restaurant on the coast allows dogs inside or has outside seating for fido, some even offer items on the menu!
