I will encourage you to visit the help center at the courthouse. They have legal consultations in orange the first 1/2 hour is free or you can visit legal aid to see if you qualify for free services.
Show up when it says to show up. If you have disabilities let them know and they will try to accommodate you. If you don't show up you could be held in contempt or worse.
