Proof of insurance is not necessary they do offer collision coverage but that covers the loan in case of an accident so it will not cover you or anyone else if injured it will make your repayment higher but you will have to have it in order to get the loan they also offer roadside assistance which helped me out several times. But if you don't get their coverage you will need to get insurance and add them on it.
I don't think so. They offer insurance that will cover your loan if you get into an accident. It is not the same as your car insurance.
