I need to find out whos name is on a couple of deeds in Union county, can I do this here, without having to go there?

We only have Wake County information in our office or on our website. Visit Union County's website: http://www.co.union.nc.us/departments/register-deeds. There you can research Union County property online.

I would look online at Union county, wake is separate

Unfortunate we only have and track Wake County deeds and records. Those you would have to call or go to the Union Co. ROD. They may have an online search tool for their records as we do.
