Personally I dealt with Newark car max I wanted to get a basic ram.4x4 crew cab and they wanted to much money went to family dodge in Philly got a 2016 bighorn ram for a lot less and got a lot more truck. Also you want to be able to haggle on the price.
I haven't had that great of an experience shopping at Carmax in Newark, DE The cars I expressed in the sales person talked me out of. And, the car I am interested in purchasing, carmax does not have on the lot and it will cost me extra to have that car transported; not feeling too good about my personal experience.
I have only had great experiences with the car max in Newark. Prices are very competitive with blue book values. As far as looking for a specific car and price i would go into the store or browse their site to see if anything in the area is availalable.
I say do some research, type in the car you want and get prices from different dealerships. I don't Carmax is dishonest but they are priced higher then average.
Do not shop there. Very dishonest company. It's my personal experience.
