Believe it or not, it provides a safe environment for students to do their homework and get additional help while their parents are at work. Most students that attend boys and girls club have parents that work out of town and get back home really late.
It is still standing because long time residents like myself had a safe place to grow, learn, and be accepted. Now I pour time and energy, along with many other long time residents, into this generation. You sound like you have nothing to do with what is going on with our children. That is your right. The community deserves your respect though, if you expect to receive ours in return
