It depends on the dog, age, demand for the dog. The dog we were looking at was $450. It is tax deductible
Ours was $400. She may have been there awhile. 3 yrs old, big dog, and so unbelievably sweet. Last I checked there were still two other dogs there that I was very sad to leave behind. A lot of wonderful pets there and we were glad to pay the fee which helps keep this no-kill rescue open. Definitely recommend them. We had a much better experience with the dogs being available, unlike what we experienced at the county shelters.
Dear Nellie Hayrapetova, adoption fees vary by breed, age, size, special needs/handling, etc. Pet Adoption Fund is a private organization / shelter and relies on adoption fees and donations to run its no-kill, non-profit dog and cat rescue operation since 1983. The tax deductible adoption fee includes spay/neuter, shots, microchip, 30 day health guarantee through our vet. If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to visit us in person at 7507 Deering Ave, Canoga Park, between 1-5 pm, Tues to Sun. Thank you.
Cats are generally about $100, kittens $150. That includes all shots, spay or neuter, and microchip.
I didn't know dogs were that much, from the Pet Adoption Fund. Then, I think cats are the least inexpensive. Cats are the cost of shots, micro chip and neutered or spayed. The Pet Adoption Fund go on donations. Call and ask, see what answers they give you.
