You might need to take them to small claims court or at least threaten to. I would also report them to the better business bureau. I am sorry that your experience there was not what it should be.
OMG I would never, absolutely NEVER even in the slightest count on refunds from any Hotel in this country or any other in the world. I've worked @ these places for years and the truth is you'd have to take them to court for a refund and they know it! So they'll keep your money and wait for the next victim, the world is bursting at the seems with em. Sorry for the not so cool news, but that's what's going on 99% of the time.
