Central Valley charges $39 for an office visit. You can usually get an appt within two days. If your pet needs to be seen the same day, That is considered an emergency appt and that is higher price. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I have been taking my pets there for years.

Scanning for a chip is free, and I believe a health check up is about $38. You may want to talk to all your neighbors first, incase it's someone's pet before taking it somewhere.. but the shelter is the place where people look for lost pets.
