They don't sell dogs there, but a good place to get a dog is from one of the many dog rescue organizations. The Pet Smart in San Carlos hosts an adoption fair a couple times a month or you can go on rescue theunderdog.com or rocketdog.com. those are just a couple of the rescue organizations that are available on the Peninsula that I know reputable.
You can adopt a rescue cat but no dogs.
small dog? they sell fish and other feeder animals(mice) i saw small birds and reptiles once.
I don't know but I'm suggesting you if you don't want to spend money on buying a dog why you don't get one from adoption...
