Hi, I have 3 acres that I am trying to reseed this season. I have horses, cows and goats that graze the pasture - what mixture options do you offer and how many bags do you estimate I’d need?

I assume this is irrigated ground. I would use our 4-way grass pasture mix. This will offer a variety of grasses which will work well for horses and cows. The goats will also browse through some of these grasses. As far as goats are concerned, I would probably seed a broadleaf plant, we recommend Sainfoin, as it will not bloat the horses which will also be present. I would use 50# of the grass pasture mix, and 25# of the Sainfoin. This should be good for 3 acres. Mike Kurth...Andrews Seed Co
