I don’t want this to sound like I’m calling anybody out and I know 10-15% is a fairly common tip on delivery, but this has never made sense to me. The service involves someone driving the food to your house. I tip 20-25% to the person who carries my food from the kitchen to the table. Delivery people deserve more than 10%. In America it’s hard to avoid doing business with large entities whose business model is based on cheap labor, but tipping is the way to make sure that, at the very least, the labor we take from them is done at a living wage.
I usually do 10 to 15 percent but right now I do a little bit more
