The grapevines are maintained throughout the year by a viticulture contractor. The current appearance is due to their winter dormancy. Vegetation is periodically allowed to grow between the rows throughout the year and then is reincorporated into the soil to assist with nutrition and soil structure. As spring comes you will begin to see buds, leaves and eventually fruit again.
