Attire for Men can be suit and tie, just no Jean's. Woman is modest attire, no pants or shorts, skirt or dresses covering knees when sitting. Veils are available to borrow for mass.
I'm a woman and I don't see a problenm with women wearing formal pants, this is all I have. Going to mass is about worshiping God, not about how vain people should be. I understand that shorts is out of the question and looking nice is expected. That's not a problem, but making women wear something they don't have or can't wear is pushing the envelope!
